General Nature

Renfrew County is located in eastern Central Ontario, and is home to a wide variety of wildlife – from tiny insects to huge Moose and Black Bears! Our varied natural, agricultural and urban habitats hold hundreds of species of plants, fungi, mosses and lichens.

Our members are passionate about all living things, and we are lucky to have subject matter experts in many areas – from birds to sedges!
