Meet at the Shaw Woods Outdoor Education Centre parking lot at 2065 Bulger Road. Our annual drive to find owls–by ear and by sight. We should see Barred Owls and perhaps Saw Whet and Great Horned Owls. Dress warmly. Ted Hiskcock will be leading. derail9mm@gmail.com

Spring Waterfowl Drive

Meet at the Pembroke Marina at 8 a.m. We will start birding there and then drive to the Westmeath area looking for ducks, geese, swans, cranes, and other birds in the fields and waters.

Bicycle Birding

Meet at the airport in Petawawa (Len Hopkins Drive) at 8 a.m. We will be cycling the Algonquin Trail and area in the morning. This should be quite productive for finding birds–covering a good area in the peak of migration.

Children’s Garden Book Sale

This is a fund-raiser for the PAFN and the Children’s Garden Nursery School. (Note this has been a yard sale in the past but will be books only this year.)
