Children’s Garden Book Sale

Saturday, September 27, 2025, 7 – 11 a.m.

at the back of the Children’s Garden, 375 Doran Street, Pembroke

This is a community event for The Children’s Garden, Cathedral’s Garden, Highview’s Garden and Pembroke Area Field Naturalists.

Please donate your unwanted books, games, cd’s, dvd’s, etc. Proceeds will go towards outdoor education and equipment.

Nelson’s Sparrow and shorebirds at Westmeath Provincial Park

Meet at the end of Greatview Trail (right branch)

Searching for Nelson’s and LeConte’s sparrows along with other fall shorebirds.
Waterproof footwear is advised. High rubber boots or even waders may give you better access to these sparrows.
